The Association of Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Managers of the Province of Alicante (Aepa) will host the next edition of the professional networking event Dialogue for Equality on 3 June. The gathering will feature Fátima Bañez, president of the CEOE Foundation, and Gloria Lomana, president of 5050 Gender Leadership. The discussion will be moderated by Sara Navarro, vice president of the Multisectoral Association of Women Executives and Entrepreneurs (AMMDE).

A business forum will follow the opening presentations, with Aepa aiming to strengthen a vibrant women’s network in the region. The goal is to connect female leaders from diverse sectors to generate synergies, share experiences, and spark new business opportunities.

This marks the third edition of the networking series under the banner Dialogue for Equality, designed to raise the profile of women in corporate settings. To date, the event has drawn more than a hundred participants and, based on Aepa surveys, is recognized as the most valuable gathering for expanding partnerships and elevating the visibility of women entrepreneurs within organizations that have numerous registered women leaders. The event will take place at El Maestral Restaurant in Alicante from 09:30 to 13:00.

Greater visibility for women in the workplace

AEPA, the Association of Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Managers of the Alicante Province, was established in 1996 to address the concerns of women who actively participate in various professional sectors and operate within the business world. It represents a practical approach to advancing the interests of women in business circles.

The association unites a broad network of female managers, business owners, and professionals from the private sector and public administration across the Alicante region. Its goals include building a network of women who can develop professionally and contribute to business growth through collaboration and leadership.

Moreover, the organization encourages women entrepreneurs to engage more openly, fostering an active and dynamic network that enhances visibility for women within companies. It also supports the creation of women-led enterprises and promotes the work of leaders—both men and women—across all fields, contributing to a more balanced and diverse socioeconomic landscape and a more egalitarian organizational culture.
