Benillup

Benillup is a neighbor to Benimarfull, Cocentaina, Millena, and Almudaina. With a population of 97, this hillside town offers panoramic views from the Vall del Travadell viewpoint. One of its standout attractions is the ethnology museum, housed in an old oil mill. Visitors can learn about the farm tools and processes used in oil and wine production.

A family-friendly eight-kilometer route runs from Benillup to Benimarfull, taking about two and a half hours. This path is ideal for those seeking a relaxed nature outing while exploring another nearby town known for its natural appeal.

Famorca

Famorca sits in a valley tucked between the Serrella and Alfaro mountain ranges. The church of San Cayetano, dating from the 16th century, stands as a local landmark. Nearby there is a snow pit accessible via the Les Foietes road, and there is a natural relaxation area with fountains and picnic tables for a peaceful mid-hike break. Other nearby sites include La Cova, Font dels Olbits, and Avenc de Famorca.

Beyond these attractions, the Serrella range offers many excellent trails for hikers seeking deeper immersion in the landscape.

Tollos

Tollos presents a challenge not for everyone: a 19.5-kilometer circular route of about five hours with medium difficulty. The ascent climbs toward the summit of the mountain, so it suits those accustomed to mountain walking. The trail traverses the Sierra de Alfaro and then descends into the Malafi Valley, offering spectacular views along the way.

From the Almudiana range, the town of Benimassot lies in the Seta valley, a small community of about 97 residents. It provides several excursion options, including Roges caves. Visitors can also stop at the Church of the Immaculate Conception and enjoy regional dishes such as arrós al forn or coques fregides, which highlight local flavors.
