Repsol opens a new store war of Prices at gas stations. Only customers at gas stations will be able to get a 10 cent discount per liter if they pay with Waylet; 20 cents for drivers contracting electricity supply; 30 cents for electricity and heating users; 40 cents for those who have signed the electricity, heating and self-consumption service contract.

Savings from this system can be used at Repsol service stations and electric charging points, invoices from the electricity and gas supplier, purchase of butane cylinders, diesel fuel, or future payments at any of the 4,400 commercial establishments. It is connected to the Waylet network.

Pressure on competitors

Led by Josu Jon Imaz, the company is shaking up the gas station market with a savings strategy aimed at increasing customer loyalty by becoming the sole provider of energy services. Repsol is pressing big competitors in the gas station business, such as Cepsa, BP or Galp, to enable new discounts.
