Almost 20 thousand couples got married in the summer in the Moscow region, the press service of the Ministry of Social Development of the Moscow Region reported.
As noted by the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region Lyudmila Bolataeva, 33 thousand couples have been married in the region since the beginning of 2024. She added that the highlight of the summer wedding season in the Moscow region is open-air venues.
“This year we made it special for newlyweds near Moscow; an opportunity to get married outdoors or in a park,” he said.
The ministry noted that work on outdoor sites will continue, taking into account weather conditions, and that prospective spouses will be able to choose their own location for convenience and a wide range of options.
