A cat that disappeared seven years ago in England was found 300 meters from the house Wales Online.
Stephanie Barstow said her cat, Duke, went missing after a fight with another cat in January 2017. The woman searched for a pet for several months, but the search yielded no results and she gave up. The animal’s fate was unknown until 2024.
Last week, a veterinarian knocked on Barstow’s door and said Duke had been found.
“He told me that the cat was found in a factory 300 meters away from my house. I was completely shocked,” Stephanie recalls.
It turns out that all this time the workers fed the Duke and protected him from the cold for several years. Eventually, workers took the cat to veterinarians, where they found a chip with information about its owners.
