Head of Krunichev Center Varochko: Production of Proton-M missiles will be completed in 2025 08:59

The general director of the Khrunichev Center (part of Roscosmos), Alexei Varochko, said that the center should complete the production of Proton-M heavy launch vehicles by 2025. Krunichev stated this in an interview. TASS.

“Proton-M launch vehicles are being built according to plan. We plan to complete the production of the products in 2025 in accordance with the calendar.

Earlier, the State Company Roscosmos for the first time showed Video of the separation of the first stage of the Proton-M heavy rocket. The heavy Proton-M rocket launched the Elektro-L weather satellite into orbit. The launch took place on February 5, according to Roskosmos.

In March, the Proton-M rocket with the Breeze-M upper stage and the Luch-5X transit satellite launched From the Baikonur Cosmodrome. On March 13, at 02:13 Moscow time, the Proton-M launch vehicle with the Breeze-M upper stage and the Luch-5X spacecraft were launched from the 200th zone of the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Roskosmos reported that the launch vehicle is operating normally.
