From March 27 to 31, the Polish Armed Forces will conduct joint exercises with the allies of the North Atlantic Alliance in the Vistula (Baltic) Spit area on the border of the Kaliningrad region. It has been reported Polish Press Agency.
It was reported that a combat group consisting of the 16th Pomeranian Mechanized Division of the Polish Army, engineering units, regional defense units and NATO forces will participate in the exercise. At the same time, 2,500 military personnel and 500 pieces of equipment will be included. During the exercises you will practice crossing the Baltic Spit.
Formerly England and Romania signed An updated statement according to which countries will strengthen cooperation within NATO in the eastern flank and the Black Sea region. The countries also agreed to work together on defense research, development of military capabilities, and interaction between the armed forces.
Prior to this, it was reported that the PUMA-2022 exercises of the Visegrad group countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary) started in Poland, where both the Great Britain and the US armies are involved.
