Two arrested with 51 mobile phones stolen during Carnival in Alicante

This National Police stopped last weekend Alicante to two men aged 20 and 35 that they had 51 cell phones carelessly stolen at carnival party. Those arrested for theft and falsification of documents made their own special “August” using the Saturday Ramblero and stole dozens of mobile phones. They didn’t have to masquerade as thieves, and both were released on charges after appearing in court this Tuesday.

The suspects also carried a notebook with notes about cities and their holidays, so Police believe they are part of a traveling group dedicated to such events all over Spain.

According to the information given by the police, they were able to return a significant part of these phones, which may have been stolen due to negligence, to their rightful owners. The Alicante Central District Police Station Investigation Group continues to take the necessary steps to fully identify all owners of the intercepted terminals.
