How to access the Trials of Faiz event
To join the event challenges, players should first meet a set of prerequisites:
- Reach adventure rank 20.
- Complete the Archons quest “A Song of Dragon Freedom”.
- Unlock the Rift region.
- Unlock the Sumeru region.
Open the events menu and select the dedicated tab. With all conditions met, the quest titled “Research topic: it’s off” becomes available, granting access to the event challenges.
Travel quickly to Port Osmosis in Sumeru to locate a character named Jami.
After a brief dialogue, Jami guides the traveler to the training ground where the first test begins.
Event Rules
The event runs through September 27, 2022. Seven challenges are available. Rewards require completing specific actions in each task. Below is a concise rundown of the event’s unique mechanics:
- Defeating foes in the arena fuels Faiz points. When enough points are earned, the Superperception skill can be activated.
- Press the designated key to activate the scan and reveal the enemies. From that moment, the enhanced Super Perception becomes usable.
- Enemies feature different vulnerabilities. Regular weaknesses appear in blue, while critical weaknesses appear in gold.
To finish the Flaws Under the Mushroom Cap challenge, players must identify at least 30 vulnerabilities and accumulate 1500 points. Rewards include Source Stones, Mora, and various crafting materials, with higher point thresholds yielding larger prizes.
