Starseeker’s Journey is a themed event in Genshin Impact set in the lush landscapes of Sumeru. Players must wield a special device known as the Wisdom of Banu to search for the stars of the future and solve a series of simple riddles. How to start the Starseeker’s Journey event
Participation hinges on a few prerequisites:
- Reach Adventure Rank 30.
- Complete the Archons’ quests Requiem of Echoing Depths and Through Smoke and Dark Woods. Doing so is optional but recommended.
- Speak with a girl named Banu in Pardis Dhyay, Sumeru.
Receiving the quest giver unlocks a unique search tool called The Wisdom of Banu. Open the inventory and equip the device from the Tools tab to begin the hunt.
With the device equipped, players can start seeking the stars of the future. The event is divided into seven stages. The first stage is available immediately, and each subsequent stage unlocks 24 hours apart.

Climb onto the golem’s head to uncover the star. Visual aids and captured screenshots can help players verify their location as they progress.

The path of death of the star of the future – how to quickly find a star
Head to the western region of the Sumeru desert and locate the designated marker. Further to the west lie ruins filled with several miniature trials. If players have visited this place before, the location will feel familiar quickly.
Beyond the ruins stands a fractured pristine structure. Move closer to trigger the appearance of a nearby enemy and begin the encounter.
During the first skirmish, two additional similar mechanisms appear. Destroy all original structures to clear the area and reveal a wind current nearby.
After the battle, follow the wind currents near the ruins to climb higher and reach the star again.
