In the village of Myskovichitsa, a humble request triggers a sweeping tale of love and loss within Kingdom Come 2. The story centers on a missing girl, and players decide the ending. This guide explains how the search starts, how the journey unfolds, and how clues come to light at every turn.

How the search begins in Hush, My Soul

While traveling through the Kuttenberg region, a resident in Myskovichitsa meets the village blacksmith. Marta, the smith’s wife, asks for help delivering horseshoes because her husband has refused to complete an order for outsiders. Accepting her plea pulls the main character into the growing mystery and launches the search.

The Wife of the Smid Marta

Deliver two sets of horseshoes to Marta

If the two sets are already on hand, they can be given to Marta immediately. If not, the horseshoes can be forged in the smithy. Marta oversees the workshop, and the necessary materials can be obtained without cost after a successful conviction check. After that, Marta asks the protagonist to locate Victorka’s horseshoes and report their whereabouts.

Deliver Victorka’s horseshoes

Proceed through the smithy’s main gate, then turn to the second house on the right and enter. In the courtyard, a veranda on the right shows signs of blood, and an open door leads into a hut. Entering the hut begins the next phase of the quest.

Find Victorka’s house

Inside the hut, open the first door on the left to reveal a bedroom. A pool of blood and a bloodied knife lie on the floor.

Tell Marta what was discovered

Return to Marta at the blacksmith shop and share the findings. She explains that Victorka’s husband died of illness and that the villagers look after her. Marta notes that Victorka often delivers goods for soldiers stationed at the Sigismund camp. If the conviction check succeeds, Marta also mentions that a local agricultural worker suspects Victorka of accepting gifts she should not have.

Speak with the farmer

In the local tavern, a man dressed in red is spotted and identified as Kuba. He is questioned about the girl’s disappearance. He answers roughly, and if pressed, a confrontation can erupt. After several exchanges, Kuba admits that a date with the girl in the forest was seen with a soldier from the camp.

Ask about the quiz at the Sigismund Camp

Proceed to the Sigismund camp. Tell the guard at the entrance that horseshoes are for the camp’s needs, and one will be admitted inside. Inquire with the first officer about the inquiry, who directs the protagonist to speak with the local blacksmith. Follow the main road and keep to the right until you reach the smithy. After listening, the smithy owner escorts the protagonist to the infirmary where a soldier nicknamed Black can be found.

Talk to the soldier

The infirmary lies to the left of the head tent entrance. Enter and move to the second tent on the right; in the corner on the sofa rests a soldier named Black.

Hire a soldier

Black complains of stomach pain, seemingly from indigestion. A gastric remedy can ease his suffering. A successful conviction check means the soldier will be ready for a conversation without waiting for a disturbance caused by a hunger-driven reaction.

Ask the soldier about the missing girl

Black shares his past with the girl. He describes a closeness that faded as military duties grew, leaving little room for family. Their meetings took place east of the camp in the forest, and now he asks the protagonist to tell the girl that he will not see her again, though the sentiment is curt. If the protagonist persuades him to show nobility and bring the girl to the camp to help him in the service, he agrees, but only with a successful conviction check.

Find the quiz

Leave the camp through the eastern gate and follow the forest trail indicated on the map. Continue until the sound of a female voice is heard, signaling that Victorka is nearby. Soon she is spotted sitting on a stump.

Talk to Victorka

Victorka tells her story: she delivered goods for the camp and became involved with a soldier named Black. Feelings blossomed, a child is on the way, but rumors spread that she was exploiting the camp. The difficult truth unfolds: a woman who recently lost her husband sought honest work and fell in love with a soldier who abandoned her. The village’s opinion darkens, and her future looks precarious. The moment arrives for the protagonist to decide her fate.

There are several possible outcomes for Victorka:

  1. Return to the soldier. The girl might live near the camp with Black, but questions linger about his reliability as a husband and father. The future remains uncertain and unstable.
  2. Send her home. The girl returns to her cabin, convinced that Black will never return. Without his support, life likely remains harsh and uncertain.
  3. Return to the village by March. Rumors persist, and her reputation has been damaged. Prospects for happiness in her homeland seem slim without broader community support.
  4. Send her to the Kuorkma Damn Place. There she can work as a servant and have shelter for herself and the child. This might be her only chance to rebuild life from scratch.

The last two options become available only if the conviction check succeeds. Regardless of choice, the protagonist shapes the girl’s future while not receiving a monetary reward. Instead, the experience offers a moving narrative that illuminates how tough it is to make the right decision in harsh living conditions.

Alternative path in the search

An alternate route can begin right after the search starts. The girl asks for Black to be brought to her, hoping to rekindle their relationship. After the refusal, the protagonist must return to Victorka and decide the direction that will determine her fate.
