Side task in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, called Barbos, opens as an optional activity tied to the workers storyline. The player is tasked with locating a person who disappeared in a dense forest. This guide offers a thorough walkthrough to help players complete the task successfully and enjoy the experience.

How to start the Quest “Workers”

The search can begin by speaking with the missing man’s son to set the right course. Alternatively, players can jump straight into the search, and a large marked zone appears on the map where Voislav might be hidden. If the second option is chosen and tips from the son are ignored, players should rely on their ears, since Voislav will cry out loudly, helping to pinpoint the direction of the search.

Find Voislav

To the north of the Cleep Hut lies a broad lake that is split into two halves. Voislav waits at a tree positioned between the two sections. The player should stand near the map marker and listen for pleas for help. Voisval is kept close to a tree, with a pack of wolves nearby, making a careful approach essential.

Overcoming the wild animals is the first obstacle; following their defeat, Voislav will attempt to drop from the tree and hurt his leg. The scene requires a steady, cautious response to secure the survivor without worsening the injury.

Pull the warfare

The player should speak with Voislav and escort him to a makeshift camp located to the north. To reach the camp, simply follow Voislav and take the fork at the end of the path, turning right. If this movement happens after dusk, the light from the campfire will guide the way and reveal any hidden threats.

Bring Warlaw Water from a barrel

Once at the camp, the player must assist Voislav by obtaining water. To the right of his tent there is a barrel; interacting with it will fill a vessel with water to sustain the traveler.

Follow the Voislav horse

To help locate the dog and understand Voislav’s movements, the player should first locate Voislav’s horse. He suspects that the horse was taken by the Deckkeradov gang. The pursuit will involve tracing the animal’s path and recognizing signs that point to the gang’s involvement.

Get rid of Dekkerades

Head southeast from Voislav’s camp to reach a bandit camp. Direct confrontation is not advised, as the camp is home to about five armed attackers and archers. The best approach is a stealthy one: steal the horse or pass through quietly. The target horse sits in the middle of the camp and is a distinctive black horse that is central to the gang’s operations.

Advice: If a major fight erupts near Pepus, the NPC may become frightened and run away. It is wiser to stay on the road toward the Warlaw camp, where the horse tends to travel in that direction.

Don’t forget to search the camp and collect useful items. Two closed chests lie in a small cave; opening them yields equipment and a crossbow, expanding the player’s gear for future challenges.

The fastest way back to the Cleepkamp is to stay on the road. Leave the horse next to its owner to ensure the game’s progression and the opportunity to speak with Voil again.

After returning to the lift, the player should indicate readiness to accompany Voislav to his cabin. Completing the task grants a reward of 45 pennies, and the player can continue pursuing the dog of Indrzhikha as part of the broader quest line.
