How to Get Rid of Gordo in Slime Rancher 2
Each Gordo requires a specific set of foods to coax it to shrink back to normal size. It’s worth noting that they crave the same fruits, berries, and meats as their smaller slime cousins. Feeding the right offerings at the right time is key to removing the obstacle and moving forward.
How to find all Gordos in Rainbow Fields
Three Gordo types inhabit this region: pink, phosphorus, and cotton. Their locations are marked on the map for easy navigation.
Pink Gordo sits in a narrow passage between two rocks. It’s a quick find and serves as a gateway to Ember Valley when cleared.
Cotton Gordo appears near a hill by the refinery. After clearing the slime, a cave opens containing a teleport that points toward Star Coast.
Phosphorus Gordo is the third large slime and can be found close to the base. Exit the greenhouse on the west and follow a short path to a small cave where the Gordo blocks a chest filled with valuable resources.
How to find all Gordos in Starlight Strand
Five Gordos populate this region: Honey Gordo, Ringtail Gordo, Angler Gordo, Flutter Gordo, and Hunter Gordo. A jetpack is often required to access them efficiently.
Honey Gordo: located near the Honey Slimes, around the waterfall. A small ledge waits above. If a jetpack is on hand, climb up; otherwise, navigate by hopping along rocks and mushrooms to reach the ledge. Once reached, a cave with several chests opens up.
Gordo Hunter: head to an area with a large locked gate and follow the path to the left until you reach a cave entrance blocked by the giant slime.
Proud Fluttering Gordo: this one sits in a ruin-filled zone and blocks access to a research drone cave, with a treasure chest tucked inside.
Ringtail Gordo: ring-tail slimes are active only after nightfall. When night settles, head east from the fluttering pride and follow the trail. If you reach the location during the day, wait a bit. This Gordo guards an alternate portal to the Star Coast, easing returns to the region.
Proud fisher: from the previous Gordo, take the path west and examine a large hole in the ground. Jump down to reach this slime directly.
How to find all the Gordos in Ember Valley
This region also hosts five slimes: Tabby Gordo, Rock Gordo, Crystal Gordo, Boom Gordo, and Batty Gordo.
Tree Gordo is tucked into the western part of the valley, nested in a massive rock that blocks access to the diamond area and the research drone.
Betty Gordo lies in the lower cave network with a lava mountain above. Clearing this Gordo unlocks the lava fields to the valley’s western edge.
Crystal Gordo blocks a geyser that hides a small hidden area filled with valuable resources.
Striped Gordo is inside a geyser cave near the center. Use the geyser to ascend, then move right on a series of platforms until a Gordo blocks an alternate teleport to that region.
Stone Gordo hides in one of Ember Valley’s caves. Access requires three Boom Plots to open the doorway. Defeating it yields a chest of rewards and a jetpack upgrade.
