Hexanexus hides a series of small conundrums in Honkai: Star Rail as players roam the Lofu Xianzhou region. The standard puzzles are fairly approachable, but the new hexanexus mode ramps up the challenge. This guide walks through how to unlock custom puzzles, where to find them, and how to crack them.
Secrets, riddles and puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail
What is Hexanexus?
The Hexanexus is a special connector device built by the Hex Club, whose members belong to the Crafts Commission. The puzzle appears as a cube with several plates. Players rotate the cube so that its faces align with the patterns on the plates.
If one or more faces align correctly, a soft glow signals progress. Early challenges are straightforward, while later stages grow more intricate.
How to open hexanexuses new version
Access to the newer version requires completing all standard hexanexus puzzles scattered across Lofu Xianzhou. Look for the puzzle icon on the map to locate them.
You will receive a message from the Gex Club offering a short survey and a personal interview invitation. Head to Lofu Xianzhou and visit the Craft Commission location. In the upper left portion, Egghead, a Gex Club member, awaits.
Answer the questions to have the hexanexus upgraded. After this, every location on Lofu Xianzhou features tougher puzzles built around a distinctive pattern. The section below lists all new version hexanexuses and tips for personalizing them.
