How to participate in the beautiful Arataki Grand Drum Festival event
To join the event, a player must satisfy several prerequisites.
- Reach Adventure Rank 30.
- Complete the Escape from the Island of Rito mission within the Archons’ task An Immutable God and an Eternal Utopia Part 2 Chapter 1.
Once these conditions are fulfilled, open the event log and press Accept invitation. Then proceed to Rito Island in Inazuma and speak with the guard in the plaza. He explains that an unauthorized event will be held on the neighboring island of Amakane. There you’ll encounter another guard who directs you to a nearby island. After a lengthy conversation with Arataki Itto, players can begin the trials.
How to play the drum. Rules of the game
The first step is to calibrate the delay with Ganta. Players can choose a standard or longer delay based on personal preference. On the hardest setting, notes appear quickly, so this step should not be skipped.
Calibration can be revisited at any time by opening the events menu and selecting Settings. Here players can also adjust the rate at which notes fall. The default speed is one, and increasing it is possible but generally not recommended to maintain accuracy.
The game features multicolored notes that appear on the screen:
- Yellow notes require tapping the corresponding key precisely when aligned.
- Purple notes require holding the specified button and releasing when the note disappears.
Maintaining a streak of correct notes boosts the overall score and final standing. As with other seasonal events, all rewards can be earned by completing the challenge on Expert difficulty, avoiding the need to grind through easier tasks.
How and why to edit compositions
The game allows players to edit existing compositions, embed them into a score, and share results with the community.
Open the event window and choose Edit Composition to begin recording by pressing Play at the top of the screen. Enter keys to record new notes and test the result with Test Game. Selecting Menu and Import lets players embed a score within an existing framework, keeping in mind that progress may change during the test. Saving work enables a Share option for dissemination.
Access Menu again to Save and share your creations after they are stored locally.
Complete the Summer Night Flowers challenge and claim all the rewards
People are encouraged to tackle the challenge on the highest setting to maximize time saved on earlier tasks. The test is straightforward, and completion of the mission along with reaching Gentle ranks yields all rewards. If a first attempt fails, another try is always possible.
