The glass either shattered in the pocket or developed severe cracks during normal use, with progressive crumbling following the initial damage.
One user described the situation on Twitter saying that there has been no crash or mishap, and daily use has continued without incident. The user also shared frustration with the service center, which indicated the fault was the owner’s responsibility, while feeling that the problem is a manufacturing defect that needs attention from Google.
