How to Get Luna Scales in Black Myth: Wukong

Besides the main story bosses, Black Myth: Wukong you can meet many other opponents with their own characteristics. One of them is the different moons. Moon scales, which we will talk about in this guide, will help you find them.

This important resource will pave the way for battles with moon bosses. While they are not required to complete the game, defeating them will provide you with many valuable materials and items in the future.

The required number of scales needed to satisfy all moon bosses is in one place.

Go to the altar “Sand Gate Village, Valley of Despair”, and go southeast into the cave there. Run forward, killing enemies and descending along with the cave terrain until you see a torch far ahead of you. At this point, immediately turn left towards the cliff and jump into the arena.

If you haven’t defeated the boss “First Prince of the Flowing Sands” yet, you’ll have to fight him. Pay attention to this unusual wall:

Try to target one of the boss’s powerful attacks on her to make your task easier.

If this fails, you will need the spirit “Wandering Peace” to destroy the wall.

Go to the altar “Wolf Forest, Forest Outside” and follow the path to its left until you see an unusual stone after the bridge.

After this you have to go right into the arena with the eponymous boss. After defeating him you will receive the ghost and return to the wall, using the acquired skill on it.

However, this is far from the only way to create the necessary crack in the wall to crawl through.

To get it, you need to complete the quest “The Man in the Stone”. First, go to the altar “Rock of Fear, Wind Retreat”. We go from the altar to the northeast along the path forward.

A little later we have to turn right with the road and go through a kind of arch.

Now go to a dead end, where an unusual object awaits you that you need to interact with.

After this, go back to the altar and this time go up the stairs on the left.

Continue straight ahead and stay on the right edge to go up the stairs at some point.

Then continue straight ahead and follow the road until you notice another staircase on your left.

After the climb, go southeast, past a certain pillar. Follow the path and enter the cave that is located to the left of the enemy, just after the rock.

There you need to go to the other edge, which is associated with the road of torches. Then follow it all the way, where the boss lives. Defeat him and return to the first search location to defeat another enemy and finally receive the transformation.

After breaking the wall using one of the above methods, you can now go through the hole, enter and collect all the moon scales from the chest.
