Walkthrough of extra tasks Baldur’s Gate 3
Where are the Gloth and Spav in Baldur’s Gate 3 – how to start the quests “Defeat the Dvergar Invaders” and “Avenge the Gloth Circle”
Creatures are on location “The Underdark – Myconid Colony”. You can get here after solving the story puzzle with the moon discs during the quest “Go to the Moon Towers”.
So you find yourself in a settlement where you can talk to two monarchs. By the way, this is where you can start the quest “Find the mushroom picker” when you talk to Derrit Bonecloak.
Tasks “Defeat the Dvergar Invaders” And “Avenge the Glot Circle” becomes active when you chat with these heroes. Note that if for some reason you missed the characters and immediately went to the lake and then defeated the doorgars, you will complete the first part of the quest to eliminate enemies in absentia.
In this case, just return to Spav and say that the doorgars are dead and the rot has been destroyed. However, the creature will ask you to deal with Nere. Once you’ve done that too, you’ll need to go back to the corpse and cut off the head. An unpleasant sight, but there is no other way to get through the search. We describe each step in more detail in the following paragraphs.

Defeat the Dvergar Invaders – Should you add Gloth to your team?
Before going to the lake, you can return to the Glot. He will ask you to take him to the group to deal with the intruders. However, in this case, the enemies will immediately attack you without speaking. If you have a modest and poorly pumped group, agree.
For players following the path of the “bad guy”, it is best not to take Gloth to the squad, but to talk to the porter and agree to help him capture the runaway slave. In this case, the search begins “Find the Missing Boots”which we will discuss below.

Still, we recommend that you leave the myconid in the settlement and enlist Geha’s trust first. So you can get close to him to deal the first blow.

In this case, with a certain probability, the enemy will not use invisibility, which will allow you to deal with him faster. In addition to the leader, there are three more doorgars to kill.

To avenge the circle of the Glot – which side should you choose?
After taking out the invaders, return to the colony and take the Glot. Take him to the shore, after which you can communicate with the creature.
When you activate the dialogue, he will ask you to get rid of Spav in exchange for the Gift of the Circle of Glot. This option is perfect for players playing the villain. It is worth warning that this is not a request at all – if you refuse, the deposed monarch will immediately attack you.

Away from the Glot
If you choose to side with the Glot, be prepared to face a lot of enemies. Literally all myconids in the settlement will be against you.

After killing Spav and the myconids, you will receive the title of “The Lord’s Confidants”, as well as the unusual “Winter’s Grasp” gauntlets.
Path of Spava

If you refuse Glot’s offer and kill him, you can loot the following items from the corpse:
- Role of humanoid paralysis;
- Scroll to “Vagueness”;
- The delicacy of thieves;
- clump of myconid flesh;
- Swarming Grebe;
- Gear controversy;
- Poison traces.
After telling Spav that they defeated the overthrown monarch, the player is given the title Solitary Man (before that the myconid will call you the Peacemaker).
At least you get access myconid cache at this location, the entrance is next to the merchant. Inside there is a corpse and some resources. Once you enter the overlord’s hideout, the quest is over.
Bring the head to Nera
Go to the boat and swim across. Depending on your path, you can tackle the doorgars or trick them into avoiding the fight. You need to go to the rubble in the southern part of the location.

You can talk to the sergeant and then use explosives or the Chromatic Ball: Thunder spell. So you can kill Nere. Take his head and take it to one of the myconides (depending on which path you followed).
As a reward, the player will receive a rare Messenger amulet.
Find the missing boots – how to cure or kill a poisoned leprechaun
The wounded fugitive lies on a huge mushroom in the center of the colony near Spav.

After passing the Nature Check, you will hear that it is poisoned. In this case, additional options appear in the conversation. You can easily pick up or finish the shoes (don’t forget to take the boots out of the gnome beforehand). The last option will make the myconids pay attention to you – you will have to answer for her death. Do one of several checks to smooth or break the corners.

If they manage to pass the test, the myconids will resurrect the slave, only as a servant.

You also have the right to heal her, even if you took the shoes by force. To do this, go to a nearby merchant and make a purchase Healing potion. Select it in your backpack and click Throw. This option unlocks the quest “Save the Gnomes in Grimforge”.

Go to Geg and tell about the boots so that you can use the boat freely and sail to Grimforge. After reaching this part of the Underdark and giving the item to the sergeant, you will receive Armor of the indomitable Kushigo or Ring of Effort choose from.
