It became known how a man accidentally found McDonald’s food in his wall, which had been there for 60 years, and showed it to internet users.
A man named Rob from Illinois shared his story on the Reddit forum. Rob told how he started redecorating the house, and when he started working on the bathroom, a surprise was waiting for him. The man found food packages from McDonald’s 60 years ago in the wall. Rob showed the contents of some food packages to netizens. “While removing the light in the bathroom, I noticed a piece of cloth stuck behind the plaster and pulled it out to show my girlfriend. It was crumpled up and we suspected there was something else in it. When we unpacked it, we saw an old bag of McDonald’s and chips,” the author said.
Rob also noted that he and the girl were glad they didn’t find anything else in the wall. According to the man, the house he lives in was built in 1959. “It’s very close to McDonald’s, which opened around the same time. That’s why I assume this package hit our wall of the builders who built the house,” shared Rob. Moreover, the man said what surprised him even more at the find. According to Rob, the McDonald’s bag was completely odorless. And he and the girl found no traces of mice.
Netizens noted on Rob’s post that it appears that the construction crew who built this house used the cavity in the wall as a garbage can. Other commenters noted that there may be collectors looking to buy these McDonald’s packs.
