The XX edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest is approaching, fueling anticipation and emotion. Eva Mora, the head of the TVE delegation, offers an emotional message to Carlos Higes. Moments before Spain takes the stage with Miss, she expresses, “The day has come, you will go on stage and fulfill a dream. I must say I could not imagine a better companion for this wonderful adventure.”
Her praise is more than ceremonial. She notes his professionalism at a very young age, his warm heart, and the way his easy charm won over the whole audience. She highlights how he maintained a high level throughout the week while still finding moments to bring smiles, look after teammates, support the delegation, and engage with the global Eurofan community, a testament to his character and teamwork, as described by the official publication.
Mora closes with gratitude for sharing this path toward Yerevan: “Regardless of the outcome this afternoon, I promise to stand by your side and support you in whatever you pursue. You are a remarkable person and a formidable performer, and the pride I feel for you and our dance team is immense.”
So you can vote for Carlos Higes for free
The words from Mora arrive just hours after Carlos Higes performs with Señorita to represent Spain in Yerevan, Armenia, at Junior Eurovision, accompanied by Karen Demirchyan. In this edition, viewers can vote from any country, freely and online, for the candidate on the official site jesc.tv. Spanish fans can vote for Carlos Higes with Miss, with voting closing just before the show begins at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday and reopening for a 15-minute window after all performances conclude.
Voting results are tallied by the event organizers and converted into points under a proportional system. Public votes contribute 50% of the final score, while the remaining 50% comes from a professional jury.
The Valencian artist, eleven years old, is set to perform on the premiere night, defending the tenth-place finish for Miss. In this lineup, North Macedonia’s and the United Kingdom’s acts anchor the event, with Albania, Armenia, France, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom also competing for the crystal microphone of this competition organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). A chorus of past Eurovision stars and industry figures, including Iveta Mukuchyan (Eurovision 2016), Garik Papoyan (actor and comedian), and Karina Ignatyan (Eurovision Junior 2019), add to the spirit of the event (Source: EBU).
