Margarita Simonyan, a prominent journalist and the editor-in-chief of RT, noted in a telegram channel that several stars who attended blogger Nastya Ivleeva’s provocative event have already been removed from New Year performances on major networks.

Simonyan explained that New Year programs had been in the pre-recording stage for some time ahead of broadcast, meaning that Channel 1 and Rossiya 1 faced a second-by-second process of tweaks. According to her, the networks had to modify the lineup late in the game, removing Lolita Milyavskaya and Philip Kirkorov from specific segments or performances as part of the reshuffle.
Additionally, Simonyan indicated that New Year projects on NTV would be shortened as much as possible. Kirkorov and Lolita were slated to host the finale of two shows, a decision that reflected the ongoing recalibration across channels in response to the recent events.
