one of the most creative moments in his career. Robe Iniesta keeps composing, hits the road, and feels perfectly at home with the group that collaborates on his solo project. the only weight on his mind is the controversy around the Extremoduro tour cancellation, now unfolding in court.

– how have the concerts been so far?

– very strong, full of energy. audiences connect with the live experience we create. last year we played shows with some restrictions still in place, but the current moment feels much freer. the performances are fast paced and intense.

– your latest album Mayéutica is described as highly experimental. how did you present it to listeners?

– in a natural, straightforward way. we performed from start to finish. the tracks are concise, designed for immediate impact.

– Symphonic is a signature element for Robe and his band. you can hear the influence of each member on the record. is this the band of your life?

– yes. we have been together since 2013 and this is our third album. her voice is powerful, but the real strength lies in the subtle nuances each musician brings. the album is rich in musical textures.

– does this band influence your composing approach? do you write with the on stage dynamic in mind?

– often. when I compose, I start without a plan. the songs come to life on stage as we play them together, then we shape them into a shared direction. the tour finishes in november, and after some time we plan to enter the studio. a new album could appear by the end of 2023.

– is that likely?

– what can be said is that it will not be a concept album like Mayéutica.

– do you work on new material during the tour?

– yes. there are ideas in progress. some songs are already drafted, but there has not been time to finalize them for live shows yet. we intend to rehearse them locally. they will contribute to the new album, though the songs are still taking shape. some members may transition, others may take on new roles. personally, I am enjoying a very creative stretch.

– are you feeling inspired?

– yes. touring fosters a dynamic that can boost creativity, yet performing keeps ideas swirling in your head. sometimes the exact moment of inspiration is hard to predict. there were years without writing a single line, then ideas started to flow again. the shift was surprising and transformative.

– was that required?

– perhaps the standard felt too high for a long time. composing is a playful challenge. every time the guitar comes out, there is a question to answer and a chance to discover something new.

– a preview of a new track was released, named Incomprehensible. it is described as an anthem and the line about not regretting anything hints at a bold stance, even as the title signals ambiguity.

– there are moments that cannot be easily explained. the lyrics touch on topics that might be misunderstood, and sometimes stating things plainly can still feel unclear to listeners.

– lyrics have always carried messages through symbols. earlier imagery used moons and poppies, and now there are doors and windows. the symbolism varies in meaning and invites multiple interpretations. the aim is not to spell out every idea but to provoke thought and emotion. once a song exists, its meaning evolves for each listener, sometimes beyond the writer’s initial intention.

– who is the intended audience for these words?

– as always, the voice invites reflection and a fresh perspective on familiar things.

– followers continue to ask about life, the composing process, and daily routines. has there ever been a plan to open up more about personal life to fans?

– there is no need for it. speculation and rumors circulate, but the focus remains on art. what happens here is a private matter that belongs to the artist and the audience only as far as the work itself allows it. the artistic expression is what matters most.

– the ongoing Extremoduro tour dispute remains unsettled in court. how does he handle the personal toll of the case?

– it is a difficult situation. the organizers filed a 3 million euro claim over comments about refunds and perceived negligence. public statements are part of the record, while the legal process unfolds. the aim is to defend integrity and rely on reason to prevail.

– should listeners expect any new developments this year?

– that remains in the hands of justice. it will unfold in due course.
