A photographer has filed a lawsuit against TV presenter Yulia Vysotskaya for using her photographs without permission on a culinary portal. Life reports this development with a note that the claim centers on unauthorized publication of images linked to recipes on the portal.
According to Life, the photographer initially reached out to Edimdoma.Ru, the company associated with Vysotskaya, asking for compensation of 125 thousand rubles for the photos or for the content to be removed. When there was no reply, the photographer took the matter to the Moscow Arbitration Court.
Life notes that the presenter had posted only two photographs that were alleged to be taken from the photographer, and these were paired with recipes on the website.
In June, reports surfaced that Yulia Vysotskaya began filming a cooking show amid criticism from viewers. The presenter was seen sharing some of her work with sarcastic hashtags and comments that suggested a sense of humor about the project. Vysotskaya decided to lean into online discussions when excerpts from the original cooking show at home grew popular on social media. The show has aired on NTV channels since 2003, and archived episodes gained particular attention for moments where desserts and grills did not go as planned.
Previously, reports mentioned changes in the personal life of actress Yana Koshkina and a marriage connected to her public profile.
