Photographer’s Legal Win Over Yulia Vysotskaya and A Fresh Look at a Popular Cooking Show
A court ruling sided in part with a photographer who alleged that television host Yulia Vysotskaya used her images on a food portal without permission. Life reported the development with the caption: Shot.
The channel noted that Vysotskaya faced a payment demand of 40,000 rubles and was also instructed to remove the photo in question.
On 28 November 2023, it was reported that the photographer first reached out to Vysotskaya’s company, Edimdoma.Ru, seeking either a payment of 125,000 rubles for the pictures or the removal of the content. After receiving no reply, the photographer took the matter to the Moscow Arbitration Court.
In June, it emerged that Vysotskaya had begun filming a new cooking show in response to criticism from audiences. She accompanied several posts about her work with tongue‑in‑cheek hashtags such as “will prepare for everything” and “will overcome.”
In a lighter moment, she decided to joke about herself when clips from her original program, “Eating at Home,” circulated widely on social networks. The series has been broadcast on NTV since 2003, and the most watched replays feature her cheesecakes spilling from pans and kebabs burning on the grill.
Reports also covered a separate note when Orbakaite responded to rumors that he might leave Russia.
