The Alicante Fine Arts Museum is offering a free, special program during the Easter break from April 2 to 5. The activities include educational workshops for children and guided, theater-style tours suitable for all audiences.
The youngest visitors can take part in two educational workshops built around One Story from Another Time, an educational audiovisual piece that introduces the Mubag’s permanent exhibition, The 19th Century. On Tuesday, April 2 and Thursday, April 4, the film-workshop The Artist’s Journey will be held, while on Wednesday, April 3 and Friday, April 5, La revolución del color will run. These activities are designed for children aged 8 to 12, begin at 11:00 a.m., and run for 120 minutes. Pre-registration is required to participate.
The guided tours will focus on the temporary exhibition Dalí. Metamorphosis, offering special sessions at 1:00 p.m. on all four days. Groups will be small, and enrollment is via the program’s registration form.
Additionally, the week will feature new theater-style visits titled The Gesture and the Light, with tours on Tuesday the 2nd and Thursday the 4th at 6:30 p.m. These visits provide a lively and comprehensive journey through the permanent collection from the perspective of two historical figures.
To participate in all Easter Week activities at the Mubag, registration must be completed through a form on the museum’s website, in the Activities section: www.mubag.es.
