The tour leads audiences through the museum’s first-floor galleries, featuring more than eighty works and nearly thirty artists who shaped 19th-century Spanish art, a collection refreshed last year. It also highlights twenty-five artifacts curated at the Prado Museum for visitors to admire.
Mubag has been presenting these dramatized itineraries for a decade, continually updating with new scenarios each season. The experience lasts about an hour and invites guests to perceive the collection from an unexpected perspective.
In July 2022, Mubag resumed guided tour services. It offers groups this option for all exhibitions, fixed passes for temporary shows on weekends, and a robust program of educational visits. The leadership notes that in the last nine months, more than 3,500 visitors took advantage of this free service, which aims to bring Spain’s rich artistic heritage closer to the public and to showcase three valuable national and international exhibitions hosted in Mubag halls, a program that continues to grow.
