Loop Mediterranean Theater is sponsored by the Fundación Mediterráneo in collaboration with the Alicante Provincial Council through the cultural sector. This initiative features a total of 15 performances, gathering diverse non-professional companies from across the province with the aim of fostering the development of non-professional performing arts in Alicante through November.

couscous follows Manel as he nears fatherhood. His sister, Clara, hosts a dinner with childhood friends where the revelation of the baby’s name becomes the focal point. The discussion sparks a series of opinions and tensions, leading to dramatic chaos and plenty of laughter as characters react to the name and the shifting dynamics of family and friends.

The program continues with a screening on Wednesday, July 27. Ron Carter’s final thoughts are shared in a piece performed hand in hand with the Railway Theatre. In this work, Ron Carter confides his secrets, fears, and dreams with his cellmate the night before his execution, offering a stark portrait of confession and consequence.
