Actress Daria Sagalova has filed a lawsuit against Melnikov and the Moscow theater, a development reported by a Telegram channel known as Puree. Sagalova is widely recognized for her role as Sveta Bukina in the popular sitcom Happy Together and has appeared in projects such as Cool Crew, Club, and Secret City. The legal action follows a dispute connected to a four-hour event for a children’s studio staged at the theater, an arrangement that drew public attention as details emerged about how the contract was handled and what responsibilities the venue had undertaken.

Under the terms of the contract the venue pledged a large concert hall and a stage equipped with lighting, sound, stage equipment and six dressing rooms for a fee of 300 thousand rubles. The package was described as all-inclusive, intended to cover the technical and logistical needs of the event and to ensure a smooth experience for the participating children. As the case progresses, observers have noted questions about the billing practices and whether all components were properly accounted for in the agreed price. The parties have not released every detail of the dispute, but sources close to the matter say the contract was meant to govern essential services without extra charges beyond the stated amount.

During the concert, theater representatives asked Sagalova’s husband to transfer 93 thousand rubles for additional services. He complied and reported the payment to the artist. Sagalova was taken aback because the contract already included certain extras, and it seemed some costs were added outside the agreed terms. Only 23 thousand rubles of the transferred sum could be recovered, a development that raised questions about why the extra charges appeared and how they were handled within the contractual framework.

Besides this legal matter, Daria Sagalova remains a recognizable television presence. Her best-known screen role is Sveta Bukina in the comedy Happy Together, and she has also appeared in projects such as Cool Crew, Club and Secret City. In December 2023 a sequel in the Bukins series was released with involvement from the Andreasyan brothers’ film production company. In addition to Sagalova, Viktor Loginov, Natalya Bochkareva and Alexander Yakin returned to their original roles, drawing attention to the renewed chapter of the franchise.

Earlier reports indicated that Lerchek and her ex-husband had their arrest extended. The ongoing case continues to develop as official statements unfold, and observers watch how the dispute might affect relations between the theater and its performers. The situation demonstrates how contract terms and added services can become focal points in disputes surrounding public performances for young audiences.
