The post‑pandemic surge in these areas has brought major international names to the region, promising continued momentum in the coming year.
Waterboys, Rozalén and La Oreja de Van Gogh headline Noches Mágicas 2024
In 2023, visitors enjoyed performances by renowned acts such as Bob Dylan, Tom Jones and Black Eyed Peas. The artists confirmed for next year are expanding daily, illustrating the province’s enduring cultural vitality. Bands like Status Quo, Simple Minds and Earth, Wind & Fire will perform in Alicante alongside established Spanish stars such as Melendi, Estopa and Sergio Dalma.
International scope
The commitment to globally recognized names continues as Marky Ramone, former Ramones drummer, will perform at Sala Marerock on April 14. As part of a tour visiting 26 cities, Alicante is highlighted as a must‑visit stop for travelers.
On June 16, British icons Status Quo will bring their classic anthems to the Julio Iglesias Auditorium. Audiences can expect songs that have defined their career since 1968, delivered with the band’s characteristic energy and style.

If a venue stands out for hosting major international artists, the Alicante Bull Ring is a frequent choice. Throughout July, the arena promises a diverse musical slate, featuring acts such as Camilo, James Blunt and Simple Minds. Camilo, a Colombian singer renowned for hits like Rich Life and Unknown, is set to perform on July 18, followed by James Blunt on July 19 and Simple Minds on July 20.
Water Children is slated to perform at the Sant Joan d’Alacant April Gardens on August 1, delivering a set of their enduring classics, including songs like Moon, Fisherman’s Blues and Strange Boat. They stand as the only international act confirmed alongside national stars such as Israel Fernández and Rozalén.
Earth, Wind & Fire Experience, led by guitarist Al McKay, is planned for August 16 at the Julio Iglesias Auditorium in Benidorm. The show aims to recapture the band’s legacy with enduring hits like September, Boogie Wonderland and Let’s Groove.
From Robe to Tow
National concerts in Alicante will also captivate fans. The Spanish artists’ tour begins January 8 with Bertín Osborne at ADDA as part of a 40‑year career celebration. Subsequent performances include Miss Caffeine on February 17, Mikel Izal on February 24, Mercedes Canas on March 1, Miriam Rodríguez on April 13, Sergio Dalma on April 14, Do Not Pull on May 18 and Manolo García on May 25.
The June schedule features Extremoduro’s Robert Iniesta, presenting a new album as a solo project at Area 12 on June 29, with his cadre of musicians. Melendi is also slated to perform on July 12 as part of the Rabasa Multiespacio cycle.

Another major date concerns the farewell shows of Funzo and Baby Loud, with the duo announcing their final performances in Alicante. They had previously sold out their opening date at Plaza de Toros and added a second date in town.

For fans seeking more than a single concert, the province’s festival calendar remains robust, with brands such as Low Festival, Leyendas del Rock and Negrita. While some posters are still finalizing, most programs have revealed a clear range of genres to satisfy diverse tastes.
Villena hosts the oldest festivals, such as Flamenquita in January and Fck Cnsrshp Festival, which showcases new fusion flamenco. Artists like Decai, Sergio Contreras, Nyno Vargas and Eldense Shakira Martínez appear there. The Fck Cnsrshp Fest will unite punk acts like Narco, Boikot, Porretas and Def Con Dos.
Arde Bogotá, Sidonie, Veintiuno and Night Beats are among the names set for Low Festival. Rabasa Multiespacio hosts Brave Music Festival with urban acts like Saiko, Cruz Cafuné and Lia Kali. May 31 and June 1 bring Spring Festival near Benidorm, with early confirmations including Long Live Sweden, Burn Bogotá, Iván Ferreiro and Belén Aguilera. Low Festival returns July 26–28 with confirmed acts such as Mikel Izal, Sidonie, Ginebras and Veintiuno.
Villena will also feature rock legends in its seventeenth edition at the Municipal Sports Center from August 7–10, including Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir, The Blind Guardian and While She Sleeps. Rabolalisard will follow with performances August 15–17 by La Pegatina, Chambao, Muchachito Bombo Infierno and Rayden on his farewell tour. October will bring rock and roll with more rap showcases to be announced. Benidorm’s Iberian Festival aims to showcase the best of national pop‑rock, already confirming Medina Azahara, Baron Rojo and Miguel Costas.
