HE Elda Castelar Theater There is already new programming for the first half of 2024. This was announced by Cultural Council Member Rosa Vidal. “With an eclectic and very interesting program that we hope the people of Elda and the surrounding towns will enjoy. “As always, the audience will have the last word when the curtain opens, so we hope and expect that they will fill the seats of this theater, which is a jewel we can be proud of.”

Theater Council Member accompanied by Eldense designer Mave Verdu, MaverichThe author of the poster design, the program cover and the anniversary logo of Teatro Castelar emphasized: “We will have top actors and actresses like José María Pou, Isabel Ordaz, Marcial Álvarez or Marta Valverde, among others; playwrights like Eduardo Galán or Juan Carlos Rubio and “Award-winning companies from the Valencian Community, such as Otradanza and Yllana Teatro, always surprise with their attractive offers.”.

Rosa Vidal also emphasized: “On a musical level, the real Ángel Stanich will visit us, we will travel to the eighties and have a great time with the Swing Machine Orchestra. The same artistic quality is maintained with children’s shows featuring puppet plays, children’s theater and musicals for the whole family. For monologue lovers, young audiences will also enjoy “We will present the comedian and influencer David Cepo, whom he knows well.”.

Rosa Vidal reminded this “Castelar Theater to be celebrated in 2024 120 years of history and 25 years of reform, more vibrant than ever. We present this new season by contributing to the future with the experience of tradition. “We have prepared a first-class offer for this.”

Regarding Mave Verdú’s involvement, the councilor stated: “A good program must be accompanied by visually strong posters that invite the audience to participate. To achieve this, we helped Mave, who is responsible for the logo of our anniversary and the image presented by the program. We thank him and the entire Theater team, especially Antonio Bautista, for their work, participation and “I want to thank him for his love.”.

Mave Verdú explained: “The challenge they presented to me was very interesting. I chose a cast of quirky characters on the basis that the audience is the protagonist, because if they weren’t here we’d be here telling the 120-year history of the Theatre. “The idea was to do something innovative and groundbreaking, and I think we’ve achieved that.”.
