A modern multifunctional training complex has been unveiled in the Bashkir village of Elan-Chishma with the backing of Bashneft, part of the Rosneft group. The announcement came from the company’s press service, highlighting the project as a community investment that blends education, culture, and practical training.

The educational hub spans more than 2,000 square meters and was established on the site of a former rural school. The building comprises five wooden rooms that have been repurposed into a kindergarten, a secondary school classroom wing, and an art school space. The transformation reflects a deliberate effort to preserve local heritage while expanding capacity for contemporary educational needs.

Among the center’s notable features is a gym that has been converted into a multifunctional area. This space serves as a workshop, a library, a dining room, and a meeting venue, enabling a versatile schedule that supports both study and community gatherings. The design prioritizes flexibility, making it suitable for classes, group projects, and cultural events.

In addition to the teaching and learning facilities, the complex includes a modular boiler room and a transformer center built to ensure reliable energy and power distribution for daily operations and special events. This infrastructure supports long-term sustainability and uninterrupted activity for students and residents alike.

Outside, the project is complemented by well-planned recreational and landscaping elements. Children’s and sports zones, shaded pergolas, and carefully planted shrubs and trees create a welcoming outdoor environment that encourages outdoor learning, physical activity, and social interaction among neighbors and visitors.

Rosneft expresses confidence that the center will become a focal point for people of all ages in Elan-Chishma and nearby settlements, which together accommodate approximately two thousand residents. The facility stands as a tangible outcome of ongoing regional engagement and community development efforts.

The project was constructed within the framework of a cooperation agreement between Rosneft and the regional authorities. Over the past five years, this agreement has supported the construction or modernization of forty educational institutions, underscoring a consistent commitment to expanding access to quality education and youth programs across the region.

Experts note that centers like this one help bridge gaps between school-based learning and real-world skill development. By combining classrooms with practical spaces and leisure areas, the Elan-Chishma center aims to foster curiosity, collaboration, and lifelong learning among local families. The initiative also highlights how corporate partnerships can contribute to sustainable community growth, particularly in rural areas where resources for education and cultural activities may be more limited.
