The Livan brand (a joint venture between Geely and Lifan Technology established this year) plans to enter the Russian market. The company plans to sell cars through its own dealer network, which has yet to be established.
The car manufacturer has not yet fully decided on the model range for Russia. It is only known that the Livan X3 Pro compact crossovers and another model, also with an internal combustion engine, will definitely “arrive”.
“We believe that Livan X3 Pro perfectly meets customer expectations in terms of quality and comfort. We are confident that the price will fully reflect the cost of the product and customer expectations,” said Kong Shuai, Deputy General Manager for Administrative Affairs of Liven Motors Rus LLC.
When sales will begin in Russia, Livan’s representative did not specify. There is also no clarity on the price, and in China the crossover is sold for 49.9 thousand yuan (about 512 thousand rubles at the current exchange rate).
Sales of electric vehicles in the Russian market are not yet being considered, but are not ruled out in the future. As well as the localization of car production in Russia.
