A tower of seven Soviet passenger cars Zaporozhets, GAZ and others appeared on one of the streets of Novosibirsk.
Unlike traditional monuments to accident victims, not all cars in this “Tower of Babel” were involved in an accident.
The height of the installation was 12 meters.
On the third Sunday of November, the victims of road accidents around the world are commemorated.
The initiators of the project were the public organization “Forpost”, the regional Ministry of Transport and the traffic police of the Novosibirsk region.
According to the traffic police, during 9 months of 2022, 91.3 thousand road accidents were recorded on the country’s roads, which killed 10.1 thousand people and injured 115.1 thousand.
