Subaru announced that the upcoming Impreza will arrive with a revised package from Subaru Tecnica International (STI).
Unlike earlier generations that focused on engine tweaks, suspension upgrades, and various assemblies, this time the STI influence is delivered as a line of branded accessories. The goal seems to be adding distinctive STI flair rather than creating a fully engineered STI model from the ground up.
The Impreza lineup centers on the domestic market, featuring STI-branded accessories as the main draw. A prototype will be unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in January, with no firm date yet announced for when the production version will reach showrooms.
