In Samara, authorities stopped a vehicle after uncovering 810 liters of spirits branded as “Mr. Cider.” This information comes from the Telegram channel “MVD Media.”
Officials from the State Road Traffic Inspectorate reported that a truck was halted and plastic barrels containing a total of 810 liters of the brand’s alcoholic products were found, along with documents showing procurement of the same brand. Additional seizures occurred in Udmurtia, where warehouses and shops held about 14 thousand liters of beer beverages, and in Mordovia, where more than 250 liters were confiscated, according to the official report.
There have already been seven regional incidents involving the drink “Mr. Cider.” The Ulyanovsk region has reported the highest impact, with 18 fatalities linked to the product. Numerous victims were found in serious or critical condition and required urgent medical care.
The company responsible for distributing the alcoholic beverage, LLC “ANDI,” faced regulatory concerns due to an expired declaration of sanitation for the equipment used in producing the drink.
