Sales of the extended Lada Aura sedan have begun in Russia, marking the brand’s most expensive model to date. The Aura signals a step toward premium features within the lineup while staying true to Lada’s value-focused heritage.
In terms of availability, the Aura is positioned to enter Moscow’s top five market segments and will start arriving at the first five dealer centers in St. Petersburg. The recommended retail price is 2.6 million rubles, underscoring its premium placement within the brand’s range.
The Aura measures 4661 mm in length, 1764 mm in width and 1496 mm in height. A 1.8-liter Evo engine produces 122 horsepower and is paired with a transmission supplied by WLY, a Chinese company under the Chery umbrella. The sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.2 seconds.
Aura is offered in three body colors: Panther Black, Platinum Silver and Coriander Brown.
Standard equipment in the Premier trim includes Lada Enjoy multimedia with a 7-inch screen, LED lighting, four airbags, stability control and cruise control.
The Status variant adds a leather-trimmed interior with a heated rear seat and a premium multimedia system: Lada Enjoy Vision Pro with a 10-inch tablet, eight speakers and Yandex Auto services. The price for this version sits at 2.8 million rubles.
Earlier reports noted that Russian dealers are updating Omoda C5 crossovers with pricing around 2.5 million rubles.
