The company outlined strategic expansion on its assembly line, aiming to introduce the Geely Emgrand 7 New (SS11) and the recently certified large SUV Monjaro (KX11) in the second quarter of 2023. While pricing had not been finalized at the time of the discussion, it was indicated that the Emgrand 7 New would be priced below the Coolray, positioning the model as an accessible entry point for buyers in the region.
Industry observers noted that Geely had carved out a new niche in the sedan and liftback segments, areas previously dominated by domestic models. The Emgrand 7 New was presented as a vehicle with the potential to broaden Geely’s market share in the region, leveraging competitive pricing and design choices tailored to local preferences.
