In May 2023, Russian market data showed a noticeable uptick in the prices of all Exeed crossovers from the Chinese automaker. A report from Car news of the day highlighted this shift, noting that while the all-wheel drive LX gained in sticker price, the standard party benefits or discounts across the range were trimmed back. These adjustments reflect a broader trend in how these models are positioned and valued by consumers in Russia during that period.

Specifically, the all-wheel drive Exeed LX in the Premium Plus configuration saw a price increase of 40,000 rubles, bringing the current listed price to 3,790,000 rubles. This change effectively narrows the gap between entry-level trims and higher-end variants, as buyers weigh the value of upgraded equipment against the higher ticket price. The trimming of the “special benefits” across all Exeed models further influences how prospective buyers perceive the overall cost of ownership, impacting decisions for both urban commuting and longer trips where added features matter.

For the LX crossover, the range of discounts or promotional allowances shrank from 230-380 thousand rubles to a smaller span between 120-160 thousand rubles. With these altered incentives in mind, the price spectrum for the LX now runs roughly from 2,879,900 rubles to 3,630,000 rubles, depending on configuration and the specific equipment package chosen. Shoppers commonly use these numbers to compare value against competing brands and to determine whether the added comfort and technology justify the expense on a per-model basis.

Turning to the Exeed TXL mid-size crossover, the perceived value shifted as well. The utility bonus attached to this model declined from 315 thousand rubles to a range of 135-160 thousand rubles, varying by configuration. This adjustment translates into a price spread that, when aligned with the equipment level and local taxes, results in a total price ceiling of about 4,514,900 rubles for higher-spec variants. For many buyers, the decision hinges on the balance between the TXL’s size, performance, and the tangible savings captured through discounts at purchase time.

As for the Exeed VX, the total benefits available to customers decreased from 300 thousand rubles to 190 thousand rubles. With the lower incentive figure, the final price for the VX model now ranges from 4,719,900 rubles to 5,459,900 rubles, depending on the trim and options selected. This shift nudges potential buyers to assess whether the VX’s capabilities, space, and features align with their budget and usage plans, especially in a market where the total outlay matters more than ever for crossovers of this size.

In contrast to these price recalibrations, there was a separate development reported about Chinese manufacturer Chery. The company began accepting orders in Russia for its first hybrid crossover, the Tiggo 8 Pro e+, with a flexible payment approach that allows ordering without any upfront prepayment. This move could influence buyer choices by offering an alternative hybrid option with a straightforward purchasing path, contributing to a broader conversation about electrified and hybrid family crossovers in the region and how new models compete against established Exeed offerings.
