AvtoVAZ has resumed manufacturing Lada Granta vehicles equipped with the EnjoY Pro multimedia system, according to the company’s press service. The restart marks a renewed push to bring enhanced in-car connectivity to the mass market, aligning with the automaker’s strategy to refresh its lineup while meeting consumer demand for integrated tech features.
The Lada EnjoY Pro system, paired with Yandex Auto, brings a suite of popular online services to the vehicle. Drivers can rely on Navigator for mapping and routing, Music for audio streaming, Gas stations for fuel stops, and the Browser for internet access. A virtual assistant named Alice is also part of the ecosystem, along with the standard integrations Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Internet connectivity is supplied either through a smartphone’s mobile hotspot or an external USB modem connected to the vehicle. This update positions the Granta as a more capable, connected option in its class, designed to appeal to tech-minded buyers who value seamless smartphone integration on the go, all described in the official release from AvtoVAZ.
Pricing for Lada Granta models with the EnjoY Pro system was not disclosed at this time. It is confirmed that the enhanced multimedia is available exclusively for the sedan and hatchback bodies within the Granta lineup, signaling a targeted approach to feature upgrades within specific variants.
In past disclosures, it has been noted that AvtoVAZ has at times produced test versions of Granta sedans under an anti-sanctions configuration. These versions reportedly omit several comfort and safety features, including interior plastic sill linings, seals on lower door flanges, hood seals, glove compartment lighting, trunk lighting, a built-in trunk closing handle, and even power steering and airbags. Additionally, the trunk release has been relocated to the instrument panel, and the air conditioning system is absent in those particular configurations. Such iterations were described as exploratory rather than standard production variants.
There has also been prior news indicating that AvtoVAZ is preparing for serial production of a new model named Lada Iskra, signaling ongoing product development and expansion beyond the Granta family. This broader push reflects the company’s intent to broaden its competitive footprint by introducing new models and technology packages aimed at improving ownership experience.
