AVTOVAZ Expands Assembly to Three Models in January
AVTOVAZ is set to begin assembling three models next month, including the Lada Granta and two versions of the Lada Niva. Production this month will cover a total of 16 trim levels and 4 colours across the lineup.
Line 5 will start producing Cross sedans, liftbacks, and station wagons from the Granta family in January. The first two models will be offered in four configurations, while the remaining three will be available in three configurations each.
All cars will feature a 1.6-liter engine delivering 90 horsepower. Customers will have a choice of white or black exterior colours.
Two configurations of Niva Travel and two of the Legend will also roll off the line. These SUVs come with a 1.7-liter engine producing 80 horsepower, and buyers can select from three colours: light brown, dark green, and black.
Grants are produced in two eight-hour shifts, while Niva is produced in a single shift. By January, the plant expects to build more than 900 vehicles.
