Russian automaker AvtoVAZ will launch the first batch of Lada Iskra cars at the end of the year. About this reports Telegram channel “Auto Stream”.
“The first production batch of Lada Iskra should be made in December 2024 – there will be 70-80 copies, and this amount will be distributed to dealership centers as demonstration samples for showrooms,” the statement said.
Serial production of Iskra will begin in early 2025.
Before this, within the framework of SPIEF-2024, World Premiere new Lada Iskra car. The car was presented by the president of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov.
Lada Iskra will be available in sedan, station wagon and Cross station wagon body styles. The new model will receive three types of power units: 1.6-liter base engine. 90 hp. with a five-speed manual transmission, 1.6-liter engine 106 hp. with a six-speed manual transmission or automatic transmission. Lada Iskra will be available in gray, brown, red and white.
Preparations for the production of a new model are currently underway, with final tests and calibrations being carried out on the vehicle design.
