In March 2024, the Belarusian crossover Belgee X50 entered the top ten leaders of the Russian new car market for the first time. In this respect reports analytical agency “Avtostat”.
According to the results of the 10th week of 2024 (between March 4 and March 10), it ranked 9th with a sales result of 541 units. The Belgee brand managed to surpass the Chinese Tank brand, which sold 477 vehicles per week.
At the weekend, Russian Lada took first place. Its dealers sold 7.4 thousand cars from March 4 to March 10. It is followed by seven Chinese brands: Haval and Geely with 3 thousand each, Chery – 2.5 thousand, Changan – 1.7 thousand, Omoda – 897, Exeed – 884. Also in Russia, 685 crossovers were sold per week at LiXiang.
Under its own name Belgee X50, a localized version of the first-generation Geely Coolray is produced in Belarus. Production of these cars started in the summer of 2023, and sales in Russia started in September.
