Scientists at the Tomsk University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) are developing technology that can double the connection of Internet of Things (LOT) systems to a single base station. It was announced “Interfax” institution representatives.
“IoT systems operating in the unlicensed 768 MHz band are laden with the chaotic operation of a large number of devices. Basically, asynchronous data transmission systems are now used … ”- said Evgeny Rogozhnikov, Associate Professor of the Department of Fundamentals of Telecommunications and Radio Engineering at TUSUR.
To him, it’s all about each device getting a signal at a random time.
“The more devices connected to the network, the higher the probability of problems and collisions,” Rogozhnikov added.
Another associate professor from the Fundamentals of Telecommunications and Radio Engineering Departments explained that the development is based on the synchronous system of the internet of things, when devices synchronize with the base station and send messages at a specific time.
Russian IT companies to be continued Working despite the US ban on sale of video cards to the country.
