The organization of the development of the video game industry (RVI) brought a reference for the Gamedelopers RGDBook (Russian Gamedev Book), also called the Red Book of Developers ”. This publication is designed to combine important data on the industry to become a valuable resource for the creators of games: Market analyst, current trends, information about the current state support measures, and a number of key legal and regulatory action regulating the sector. The authors have configured the red book of developers in thematic departments covering a wide variety of issues that are critical for gaming and doing business. They include detailed aspects of the legal registration of the enterprise, intellectual property, affordable government support measures and benefits. The publication also affects the compilation of contracts, working with personal data, the requirements of labeling products to attract investments and to promote projects. Separate sections are allocated to the legal aspects of the use of CFA, and the regulation of gambling elements and lutboxes in games.
The main purpose of the collection is to help developers earn time to find the necessary information and allow them to focus on the creative process of creating games directly. The authors emphasize that materials are presented in an accessible and understandable way by avoiding complex legal terminology and providing adapted explanations.
RVI also announced its plans to expand the project. In the future, the organization plans to publish a condition that is conditionally called “green pages”. This future collection will focus on practical suggestions for the integration of narrative elements into game projects. Currently, RVVs are looking for experts who are ready to participate in the creation of basic parts of this new series.
