“This technology is fundamentally changing our approach to solving the problem of limiting electric vehicle supply,“ the company representative said. “By combining two different batteries in a building, we can optimize the possibility of a significant increase in both high power and travel distance.”
In addition to the Freevoy binary power, CATL introduced the second generation Shenxing super fast -changing war. They provide a range of 800 kilometers and have a peak charging speed approaching 12C with a maximum of 1.3 MW. In practice, this means increasing the range by 2.5 km every second of the connection. The battery maintains its high charging speed even in difficult conditions: at -10 ° C, it can be charged between 5% and 80% in just 15 minutes. Even with almost full discharge, the battery can give up to 830 kW (1113.4 hp) output power.
The third important announcement was Catl’s sodium ion battery. Mass production is planned in December this year and is compatible with both hybrid and completely electric vehicles. This battery reaches the highest energy density in the sector – 175 VTH/kg. This allows hybrids to receive more than 200 km and fully electric machines – more than 500 km of electric strokes.
The battery supports 5C ultra fufffering charging and has an impressive service life of 10,000 loops. The tests indicate that the battery can charge from 30% to 80% in only 30 minutes at -30 ° C and can maintain 93% of its useful capacity. Even with a charging level of 10%, cars can have a speed of 120 km/h on the highway.
