Samsung will release updates for older smartphones

Until the end of August, Samsung will release updates for several older smartphones, including the Galaxy S5 Neo, S10e and Note 10 Plus. About informs Android Authority portal.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo was released in 2015 and the latest Android version for it is 6.0.1. However, the upcoming update to the device will include a patch with a fix for GPS.

Also, according to the source, Samsung will update the 2018 Galaxy A7. The patch will include security fixes and stability improvements. On the compact flagship Galaxy S10e, the update will fix 60 vulnerabilities, while the Galaxy Note 10 Plus patch will improve stability.

Formerly socialbites.ca saidSamsung is reviewing its manufacturing strategy for 2022 and plans to reduce its smartphone shipment schedule from 300 million to 260 million devices.
