Popular WhatsApp Messenger offers a new function for Android users – messages. This function is designed to simplify the monitoring of the answers given to certain messages in chats, which makes correspondence more organized and understandable. About it reports Publication Verge.
Instead of chatting in search of different answers, the new function will group all the answers of a particular message in a branch similar to the issues in forums or X (Twitter). This will allow you to see all quotes and answers with the original message, simplify the necessary information and search for navigation in long and confusing conversations.
Information about the development of message chains was found by Wabetainfo Portal with 2.25.7.7 for Android in WhatsApp’s beta version. Currently, function is being developed and is not available for test. According to Wabetainfo, message messages will work in personal chats, group chats, communities and channels.
Wabetainfo managed to enable the preliminary version of the function and publish a screenshot showing how messages would look. The screenshot shows a pop window to the full screen and displays the answers of different users in the group chat. Users can click any message quoted to see all the answers in this branch. At the same time, the first post -answered message is not displayed in the chain window, as can be seen in the screenshot.
So far, there is no information about when the function of message chains has become available for all WhatsApp users.
