SanDisk announced a new portable SSD dedicated to the popular game Fortnite. about this reports PCWorld publication.
The device is available in two versions: 1 TB (for $90) and 2 TB (for $150). The SSD has a vibrant design with emoji and blue color accents. Along with the SSD, SanDisk also introduced a limited edition themed USB drive for Fortnite fans. Both products are currently available for purchase.
Additionally, SanDisk introduced Creator Phone, an external drive for mobile devices. This SSD features a magnetic MagSafe slot for easy connection to your iPhone (or Android smartphones with MagSafe-enabled cases). It is offered in 1 TB and 2 TB variants with USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer speeds. The 1TB model will be available in the spring for $110, and the price of the 2TB version has not yet been announced.
For owners of older smartphones, SanDisk offers the Creator Phone Drive, which has USB-C and Lightning connectors but has a smaller memory capacity of 256 GB. The price varies between $50 and $70.
