ChatGPT integration will be free for iPhone, iPad and Mac users and will not require creating an account.
ChatGPT will also be used to answer complex questions and compose text, complementing Siri’s existing capabilities.
The update will also bring support for the Visual Intelligence feature that launched on the iPhone 16 with the new Camera Control button. With its help, users will be able to get information by pointing the camera at an object of interest.
The first Apple Intelligence features will be available in English to Apple gadget users in the US with the iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 and macOS 15.1 update. Their release is said to be planned for October 28, and iOS 18.2 with ChatGPT support is expected to be released in December.
