Nintendo has introduced a new product to the smart device market: the “smart” alarm clock Sound Clock: Alarmo. Sound Clock: Alarmo is equipped with a motion sensor that detects the user’s waking behavior. If the device detects that the owner continues to rest in bed, it will start increasing the volume of the music and adding sound effects. The device can also sound alarms inspired by various Nintendo games.
The device has a 2.8-inch screen that displays the time and various animations from Nintendo games. Additionally, Sound Clock: Alarmo can track its owner’s sleep and keep statistics that can be displayed on its screen.
To switch between the different formats of the alarm clock, the owner simply turns the large knob on the device. Nintendo plans to provide free updates for the device and promises more content from a variety of games.
To purchase Sound Clock: Alarmo, potential buyers in the USA and Canada will need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, which starts at $4 per month (about RUB 400). The device will go on sale in early 2025.
